Adventours Outdoor Excursions proudly presents the 23rd Annual Santa Barbara Triathlon (SBT)!! In 1981, the first SBT took place with 250 participants. In the years since, SBT has experienced phenomenal growth and success. Triathletes are drawn to this event by the top-notch organization, beautiful courses and positive atmosphere.

As always, the traditional Saturday races are guaranteed to see a full field of 650 competitors in the Long Course and 300 in the Sprint Course.  The new Women Only Sprint Course on Sunday will also have a limit of 350.  Limiting the field in each race is just one reason the Santa Barbara Triathlon is renowned as one of the best multi-sport races in the country.

Santa Barbara, nestled between the Channel Islands and the majestic Santa Ynez Mountains, is a small cosmopolitan town filled with quaint shops and fine dining. Spanish-influenced architecture combined with an ideal climate and spacious beaches create the perfect vacation escape. Make your race weekend here a special one by experiencing all that Santa Barbara has to offer.

Bring your family and friends with you to the Sports Expo and Race Registration/Packet Pickup on Friday. You can stock-up on discounted Triathlete wear and accessories. Don't forget to visit the Santa Barbara Mission and catch the sunset from Stearns Wharf before retiring early in preparation for RACE DAY.
